European Schools | Brussels

International schools in this category are European schools.
These schools are primarily reserved for the children of European Union employees and officials (with the exception of the European School of Waterloo-Argenteuil). However, some sections accept other children.

In primary school, education is generally taught in the child’s native language along with another language. In secondary school, classes are still taught in the child’s native language along with two other languages.

European schools prepare students for the European Baccalaureate, a diploma recognized in all European Union countries as well as in a number of other countries. European schools, based on a European model, offer multilingual and multicultural education for preschool, primary, and secondary levels.
