With nearly 200 students, Montgomery International School has grown exponentially over the past few years. In September 2023, the school officially joined the French educational group ERMITAGE. Education Cycles

The school includes 3 sections :

• Primary Year Programme (PYP) (5 years) : for pupils from 5 years ½ to 11 years old
• IB Middle Years Programme : for students from 11 to 16 years old
• IB Diploma Programme : for students from 16 to 19 years old

Curriculum

Montgomery International School offers two programs from primary to secondary education: one program is entirely in English with French as a second language, and the other is a bilingual program with French and English immersion courses. Additionally, it is the only school in Brussels that grants the Advanced Bilingual IB diploma, providing a significant advantage for students applying to universities.

THE PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAMME (PYP)

5 years Programme for pupils aged 5 years ½ to 11. Bilingual program with French and English immersion courses or English-only programme with French as a foreign language.

IB MIDDLE YEARS PROGRAMME

5 years Programme for students aged 11-16. This is taught either as an English-only (with French as a foreign language) or as a bilingual one (English/French).

IB DIPLOMA PROGRAMME

2 years IB Diploma Programme for 16-19 year-olds. A high-school curriculum that prepares students for university, taught entirely in English, with French taught as a foreign language or as a bilingual French/English programme.
